Introduction

IRISA/VS was developed to allows Irisa Videotex applications implemented with Irisa version 4 to migrate to Irisa version 5.

Key features

IRISA/VS provides the following parameter-driven applications :

· ARB : dynamic tree diagram management (a meta-language file containing the complete description of tree diagrams)

· GFX : menus management (static tree diagram)

· IDN/PWD : identification and password capture

· MCX : multi-criteria search application for a DBX database (Irisa)

· TAC : allows simultaneous users to exchange text messages (« chat »)

· FWD : forwarding functions for X25 networks (transfers to other services)
