Introduction

IRISA/DRS is a server interface to dialog with phone network carriers directory services.

Key features

IRISA/DRS is delivered with the following components :

·          A DRI server (Irisa message oriented ORB), interfacing client applications and the telco directory service following the ITU E115 standard protocol, through a X25 line

·          A client application for testing

·          A Phone Directory sample application for Internet

IRISA/DRS includes :

·          Many different instances for requests concerning load-balancing :

·          A sample application illustrating a directory search service for WAP compliant mobile devices

Each DRS service instance balances E115 messages on opened X25 Virtual Circuits (X25 VCs are opened once and closed after an unused period of time)

It requires a subscription to telco operators for E115 directory service.
